2013 Mission: 200 pounds!

Greetings and welcome to my journey to no longer be the fat mommy!  I have been fighting weight issues since my early teens.  Had gastric bypass back in 2003 and got down to 200 pounds.  Then life's issues came upon me and I ate myself back up to 263 pounds!

This year is my year to get my tail in gear and get this weight off for good this time.  This will always be a struggle but I am up for the challenge!

I received a years membership to a local woman's gym for Christmas from my honey and I am going to use every minute of this thing.  Luckily they have daycare so I can take my daughter Joanne with me when I workout.    I have been a Biggest Loser fan for years.  When I am working out in the gym, I turn my inner voice into Jillian and push myself to go five more minutes when I am on one of the machines.    Go until you puck!!  :)

Food wise: it is time to get back to gastric bypass basics.  Protein, protein protein!!!  And I must work on cutting out the evil carbs (bread, crackers, cookies...ugh).   Must try filling up on more fruits and veggies so I don't feel the urge to snack so much.

I did not think to take my very beginning pictures last week but here are my front and side view pictures from one week into my journey.  Wish me luck!

 01/10/13 - 261.4 pounds (down 1.6 pounds)
